The United States and the United Kingdom have begun airstrikes on Yemen. You may remember Yemen as being an isolated nation at the very southern tip of Saudi Arabia. You see the Saudis have been waging war on Yemen for about a long time now. You see once more, the Saudis haven't been able to slap chains on Houthi rebels and as is always the case, Yemeni civilians pay a heavy price for internecine warfare that profits weapons manufacturers here in the land of the "free to profit off of human suffering." So the Houthi rebels are a paramilitary/socio/political gang of fairly adept warriors that do not care for Saudis and one can't really fault the Houthis for that. Saudis are more than a shade puritanical and since the Saudis are armed by America, well, the U.S. really doesn't care what happens to Yemenis and that much is a given. Recently the Houthis declared war on Israel and that sort of changed the entire Middle East dynamic and the Houthi rebels have taken to firing missiles and drones at merchant ships headed for Israel. So bottom line would be ... what we have here is another case of proxy war about to become global war. Boy oh boy ... couldn't see that coming. Actually ... if one is paying any attention whatsoever to the Israeli ethnic cleansing and genocide on Palestinians, you could see this coming from about miles away. So ... war it is and ... won't that be just ever so exciting. Friday machine art is up right about now. Mothers don't let your babies grow up to be cannon fodder.
