Betelgeuse...Betelgeuse...Betel...

Look out on account of she's a gonna blow! Betelgeuse the star which anchors the Orion constellation, is going "supernova!" Yup, and you can catch all the astronomical speculation about what Betelgeuse is about to do, or not, on any number of the space science web pages of which there are loads. Loads and loads. So IF and that is a rather theoretical "if", Betelgeuse goes supernova you would be able to see the Betelgeuse supernova in broad daylight. That would be really spectacularly cool. So daytime bright it will beam its supernova light as bright as a full moon. So the theoretically and pontificating Astro scientists say. Maybe it will... perhaps it won't. Ain't about not a dang thing anyone can do about stars going supernova or not going supernova. I hope that Betelgeuse blows a supernova that goes down in history as one damn fine supernova. That is just me. Now for Tuesday machine art.

betelgeuse going supernova would be a helluva better story than the ongoing trump psycho-circus. 😏
