Holey Weak Continuum

Image
Does Holey Weak begin on Palm Sunday OR...on whatever Monday? Probably doesn't matter. Here's a special 'pontifical' pronouncement : Blessed (?) is self-righteous hypocrisy. Self-righteous hypocrisy worships an ever so imaginary deity. Now for unimaginably righteous machine art - a separate reality - colorful wood - hang in there kids...that desert wind storm is just about over. 👌

In Celebration Of...

Image
In celebration of 'holey weak', we's gonna have us all art all weak long. Oh yeah. That ought to be reason enough. Works for me and now let us get to it. A cause it's 'holey weak'.  reel time - @ the park - room w/view - I recently received papal blessing to post up machine art for 'holey weak'. thats my story and I'm sticking to it...for now. 🙇

Bigger Than...Jesus?

Image
BTS or "Bulletproof Boy Scouts" is mucking up Las Vegas. BTS is, upon keyboarding a google search, a Korean 'boy band' and a titanic hit with the kids. In Korean, BTS means "bangtan sonyeondan." Who knew. Anyway Vegas has flipped the script on traffic nightmares, packed Allegiant Stadium (home of the Las Vegas Raiders that used to be the Oakland Raiders), had the young folk standing in line under a hot Las Vegas springtime sun swooning all over the damn place, and in general pissing off the local Las Vegas denizens. 'Bulletproof Boy Scouts'...say what? I did not know. Turns out I did not know, did not care to know, couldn't care less, and the 'Bulletproof Boy Scouts' will be in Vegas next weekend for a second round of teenage frenzy. Today is Palm Sunday which is a sort of big deal with christians. Jesus never packed an Allegiant Stadium. Next Sunday is Easter. I'm thinking that 'BTS' never resurrected from the dead (you see...

Take What Light Gives You

Image
It would be far better to walk in light than to stumble around in the dark. Wow is that philosophically deep...or what. Especially so when working art. Or not working art. Or whatever. Light brings out the finer details of any artistry. It can be problematic to stare at some fashionable work of art while in the dark. Wow and yes...that's deeply philosophical. I made enquiry to the local art community of our new digs and they're not interested. Not a lick. The local art community is closed to outsiders and there you go. None for me. Oh well...it isn't like I haven't been down that dusty trail in previous attempts to get my artistic work seen by art community types. Uppity dang bunch without doubt. Art communities just about anywhere. They decide what is art and what is...not. Arrogant fucks anyway. So with that little spurt of vitriol being spurted, here's todays installment of outside the polite and proper world of machine art. stony - layers for Madam Jeanine - J...

Blue Boy And His Orange Balls

Image
Happy Friday everyone. Did you happen to catch Tiger Woods at the Masters? That's a professional golf tournament and Tiger Woods is a professional golfer. When we last saw Tiger Woods, he was being hauled away on a gurney after crashing his car. Tiger was speeding and couldn't make a rapidly approaching curve in the road he was driving on. While making a feeble attempt to make the curve, well, Tiger couldn't make the curve and he crashed his car and damn near killed hisself in the process. The process of crashing. Yes I know the proper pronoun to be used here would be 'himself' but I really don't care about proper usage and since this is my damn blog, or whatever, I'll use pronouns however I damn well choose. Yeah. Anyway and back to professional golf, the Masters is the biggest deal in all of golfdom and ONLY the very best of professional golfers get to compete. You see a professional golfer has to have won at least once on the PGA tour to get an invite t...

Four Times The Franklin

Image
Did you catch the Ken Burns super duper documentary on Benjamin Franklin? I did. Benjamin Franklin has always been my favorite among the founding fathers. Of all the American founding fathers, Mr. Franklin is the most relatable. Benjamin is real while all the other founders of this once great nation are mostly poseurs. With the single exception of George Washington. Not even Tommy the Jefferson comes close to Mr. Franklin. I did learn that America's founders were slavers with possibly one exception. I learned that Franklin refused to patent just about all of his inventions. Thomas Edison can't say that. At times Mr. Franklin could be one cold human and then in the reverse of that, the man was magnanimous. Benjamin Franklin was a riddle wrapped tightly around a conundrum stuffed inside a mystery. As for Ken Burns, he's sort of enamored of his documentary work. Burns' work is timely and accurate and the guy probably owns PBS. PBS doesn't exactly air any other docume...

Say Kids, What Day Is It?

Image
Well...it's Hump Day! So go on out there and gets you some 'hump'. Now for a Hump Day's required machine art. It isn't like everyone wasn't warned...wait...I could suppose no one was. Warned. Oh well... Abe, the last honorable politician - balls - now that all the 'necessary stuff' is complete we'll bid you all a fond TTFN, 😇
