Twin Falls ... ?
Idaho has guns. Loads of guns. Big guns, small guns, guns of just about any color or caliber you might want. Especially if you've a mind to do some killing. Generally and as a rule, Idaho likes hunting or as is a preferable treatment these days, sport shooting. So when some fucknut with an AR-15 assault rifle goes on a killing spree, folks in Idaho tend to poo-poo another mass murder with gun violence and arrogantly reply "this is Idaho and shit like that doesn't ever happen in Idaho." Well it most certainly does now. Idaho per capita, more than likely, has more private gun ownership than Arizona. ATF would have records with exact numbers of gun owners in Arizona or Idaho but since it's the ATF keeping track of the numbers ... I'm not gonna bother asking them. ATF policing forces are inordinately twitchy and most certainly spooky. I'm gonna leave it at that. Anyway, Saturday afternoon in Twin Falls, Idaho some dumb ass with an AR-15 assault rifle went straight up berserk and gunned down three people and wounded seven others at an In-N-Out Burger that just recently opened. A fairly big event for Twin Falls no doubt. I've been to Twin Falls a number of times and you'd not think that mass murder gun violence would be a staple. Not inTwin Falls. If you've happened to watch the movie 'Paul' the bridge the gang is driving over while being chased by a government "agent" is just and barely north of Twin Falls and that bridge spans the Snake River Gorge and should you live there or been there you know exactly what I'm talking about. Anyway and back to mass murder violence in Twin Falls, Idaho. The entire region around Twin Falls, is alive with mostly ranching people or farming people or polygamists or just regular mormon people so you'd tend to think Twin Falls would be safe for family and friends. Especially with a newly opened In-N-Out Burger in town with family and folks out for Saturday shopping and meet ups at the burger stop. Damn sad and the people of Twin Falls will be in need of some kindness and hugs ... plenty of hugs. Hugs can help and if you've any doubt, try hugging for a change and you'll feel the warm glow of human on human concern. Back to our recurring theme of senseless gun violence in America and Twin Falls, Idaho in particular ... Idaho produces potatoes and the potato industry is really 'huge' in Idaho and especially so around Twin Falls. Just a mention so's you know who and where it is the Lays people get all the spuds the Lays people do horrendous things to ... come from Idaho and Twin Falls ... or Pocatello ... or Burley ... or Idaho Falls ... or Preston ... or American Falls ... or you know, Potato Falls on the floor and rinse it off and slice then dice or wrap that old spud in foil then pop it in the oven for baking. Yummy ... I do love me some baked potato. One of the three people killed in Twin Falls was an employee of In-N-Out and quite possibly the deceased may have been working that first ever job. Twin Falls authorities haven't released much in the way of vitals regarding this mindless bullshit HOWEVER ... the shooter was found around back of the In-N-Out having shot himself and deprived the good people of Twin Falls the opportunity to seek some sense and justice. So typical of our postmodern really fucked up world. Now for Sunday machine art.
