Apocalypso Colorado
It seems the state of Colorado is having a retro-apocalyptic summer and dang if'n that doesn't about suck. Or choke. Having been there did that once, I'm not at all up for doing it again. One of the primary reasons I don't live in Colorado. So meteorologically, Colorado is a cross current nexus point of winds and abhorrent weather patterns that are converging smoke from multiple wildfires from all over the North American west. Smoke from Canadian wildfires, Washington wildfires, Oregon wildfires, Idaho wildfires, Montana wildfires, Wyoming wildfires, New Mexico wildfires, and Texas wildfires are every one of them pumping smoke into Colorado. Bummer no doubt. So anyone thinking about walking a mile for a Camel cigarette in Colorado will have serious pulmonary trouble and possible collapse due to all the wildfire smoke that is choking if not outright strangling Coloradans and if you happen to be dependent on clear clean Colorado air for breathing purposes, well, you'll be needing to head for parts unknown to be without wildfires and voluminous amounts of smoke. Here in the West ... good luck with that. Here's a photag of how the skies look of late in Colorado -
The air in Colorado is far from normal and certainly appears to be other worldly and rather than breathing the Colorado air, all one has to do is pick up a cake knife and cut a slice of the air and there you go. It really isn't normal to have to eat your air and although it might have a woodsy taste, there would be few if any actual benefits for needs of your body associated with breathing clean air. So if you the kind reader is thinking about how you might help the good people of Colorado, head to your local Walmart and pick up a case of those ever so handy cans of breathable air ... sold in the sporting goods section of Walmart. Now for some Thursday machine art.

some years back we had us a summer quite like this one and Oregon was caught in the midst of an out of control wildfire ... so all that Oregon wildfire smoke managed to make it's way to Salt Lake City where the wife and I plus dogs were living at the time. I ended up having to spend about a week in the hospital on account of the wildfire smoke was playing fast and loose with my COPD w/asthma ... the food was nice and the inhalation therapy I was receiving was really nice and quite enjoyable. I'd really not want to have to go through that again. 😐
