Hey Dr. Tyson you're up pal. So what if the Chinese are the first technologically advanced culture to encounter "alien life forms?" At least here in America it is sort of a given that "alien life" would contact America. That is the almost unspoken elephant in the brainiac room, is it not? The Americans might not be the humans that "alien life" would want to contact. Americans do come across as a bit ass backwards. Overly self-indulged. Wantonly rude. Mindlessly arrogant. Trashy. Violent. Not all Americans are like that. However, news programs do play up the worst of American culture. So, that's one of those naggy little blurbs that float across one's train of thought from time to time. Time after time? Does leave one to wonder...what is up with that...

the Dr. Tyson mentioned at the start a ways back up there a mite, would be Dr. Neil DeGrasse Tyson. distinguished doctoral guy, pretty dang smart and savvy, and on the surface anyway, he seems a decent enough guy. 😏
