Have you noticed how media concerns are posting the really violent images from Russia's assault on Ukraine? Oh yeah... bloodied children, weeping mothers covered in a child's blood, broken men, burning buildings, explosions, and special effects just for the viewers pleasure. So what if anything, does all the imaging do? Other than titillate and enrage. Damn Rooskies anyway. Bloody murderous barbarians and damn icky commies no doubt. Did you know that the rooskie army guys are raping Ukrainian women? Did you know that the rooskie army guys are eating Ukrainian children...raw? Did you know that war and all the ancillary bullshit is nothing more than that? Bullshit plain and simple. Of course its the rooskies working all this genocide and war crimes so blame Vlad the imperious Putin. You see Putin is the 21st century version of Rasputin and Rasputin was really and historically gull darn icky! Media concerns are always looking for the bright side of horror. I read a thing on the morning news feed that was more than a little comical. Some Russian billionaire has put up a $1,000,000.00 bounty on Putin's head. So the media blurb insists. I'm assuming that this bounty will be in US dollars and not Russian Rubles. You see the Russian Ruble has tanked thanks to the sanctions put in place by President Biden and all our Euro buddies you'd care to count. Sanctions before dishonor. Sanctions can, sometimes, draw less bloodshed. That might be a good thing. Anyway, if you've a mind to see atrocity in realtime footage, tune in to CNN or NBC or CBS or whomever you might like. There's bloody horror waiting just for you. It would seem that a fair share of our human condition leans to the bloodthirsty side with relish. Machine art for Thursday is next. There will be mostly not much in the way of blood and gore. Not Al Gore.
