 from texas we get a story about a dog. not just any dog. no, this is a story about a dog that got to experience texas cruelty up close and personal. it seems the dog had been hit by a car and then shotgunned. why anyone would want to hit a dog with a car and then shoot the poor little fucker is beyond me, however the story speaks volumes about texas. you know texas, where men are men and to prove their manhood they run over dogs and then shoot them with shotguns. I could suppose the dog got off fairly light as in texas, they'll tie up a black man in chains and then drag him behind a truck. oh yes that is a true tale. so from texas we get tales of barbaric brutality and texans seem almost happy with that. anyway, the run over and shot dog managed to get taken to a texas humane society. yes there are small segments of texas where humanity and kindness reign supreme. not very many but some. so the texas humane society had their veterinarian work his miracles on the aforementioned dog and that's when it was discovered that the puppy (the dog is only about 9 months old) had not only been hit by a car but the dog had been shotgunned. the texas humane society's vet set the dog's fractures and plucked all the shotgun pellets out of the dog's body and after some doggy recovery the humane society began a search for a family that would care for the dog and not try to run the dog over with a car or truck or whatever nor would they shotgun the dog as the dog had had about enough of that. judas priest, people are wonderful. not all people mind you. the texas humane society found a family somewhere around San Antonio that adopted the puppy and the family doing the adoption had experienced some serious loss of their own so the adoption match was just about perfect. for the doggy and for the family. the actual story can be found on the CNN webpage. you know just for clarity and fact checking and shit like that there. there's a picture of the aforementioned battered puppy and damn if the dog isn't about a cutey. so not all texans are assholes. the asshole texans are those that would run over a dog in the first place and then to add sadistic cruelty to their existence, they would shotgun an already mangled dog. there is something seriously wrong with people such as that.
