happy happy joy joy

today being December 21, 2020 and there are exactly 10 days left in the month. that would mean Amerika only has to endure 30 more days of trump. today is also the winter solstice so, it's the first day of winter. or would that be tomorrow. either way...yippee! the really good news would be that this evening will bring the Jupiter/Saturn conjunction into fruition and as long as wherever you might hang your hat has clear skies then you'll get to see it. the Jupiter/Saturn conjunction. according to the astronomy people the conjunction hasn't been seen around these parts for about 800 years. damn if that doesn't sound like a long time. I've got my Nikon all charged up and the night scene settings are set and the old Nikon is mounted on the tripod and all we need now is for the sun to start to set. can't wait. there's actually something besides all the Covid crap to look forward to. you won't need a vaccination or none of that. evidently the planets will be so close together, you'll be able to see Jupiter pass inside the rings of Saturn. I think that suggestion just might be a bit overblown but, seeing as how I've never seen a Jupiter/Saturn conjunction, I don't know if that is true or otherwise. ain't not nobody has seen a Jupiter/Saturn conjunction in a very long time so the event could be anyone's guess. maybe with christmas being just four days away, it's some manner of christmas miracle and jebus will get reincarnated for a second appearance. we all know how well that worked out the first time. blessed blisters of a crucifixion no doubt. I could suppose we'll all just haver to wait and see. next up...machine art and stuff.
