I might keep this up for the foreseeable future. I'm having fun. I get to rework works I created quite a while back. So and that being said, here comes another work by me.
the fire of hope
some dreams die
at the speed of inception
the proverbial flash in the pan
while other dreams die
agonizingly slow
twisting precariously in the wind
turning and tempting
inviting an inspection
to see if perhaps
there may be some way
to resuscitate the fire of hope
and
therein swings the vicious blade
that slices the dreamer's soul
being unwilling to release
the faintest glint and
chance of realization ... DKN Jr.
