 The Saturday morning shopping drill at our local Walmart's was almost a surprising soiree. Just in time for the end of September when what to my wondering eyes should appear ... xmas crap. Oh yes ... the xmas blitzkrieg is under way and I really was not expecting the onslaught to start quite this early. Hell the dang halloween junk is still decorating the aisles and now the xmas stuff is going on to shelves. Granted the new displays were mostly decorative. However, even for Walmart this seems counterintuitive to be selling xmas crap-o-la with the halloween shit. Just think of how entirely sick you'll be of xmas by oh say the end of October. Which just so happens to be Halloween. I'm sick of it already. Amerika ... land of the free as long as you pony over the cash. Or credit card which is actually the preferred method of payment for crap AS the retailers get a modest bonus for championing the cards. Pay now pay later and then pay some more and pay a mite more and then ... you might have to put your children up for sale on the open sex slave market.  Friday and let the weekend begin.
